I work as an Equine Massage Therapist. I find the Quarter Horse to have the best dispostion. I also own a 22 year old Quarter horse that I have had for 15 years and I would not trade him for anything. He is intelligent, an excellent teacher, and a great companion. He also has a great sense of humor. Worst fault - very food motivated!

I love Quarter horses. The only thing that scars me is the hypp disorder breeding thing. You take a big enough risk of time, money and energy when you buy a horse. It is an investment. I guess you have to know your bloodlines and all that before buying. I also like the personality off most quarter horses I've met. If they are tempremental and crazy it't most likely breeeding or handling anyway. Isn't that the truth for all breeds? All the Cash mares I ever knew were mean and temperamental.
